Before & After Results

Real outcomes from procedures performed at our Surat clinics. Every photograph is published with the patient's written consent.

How to read a before and after gallery

Every photograph in this gallery comes from a procedure performed by Dr. Ashutosh Shah at Elegance Clinic in Surat, and each one is published with written patient consent. None of the images are retouched, slimmed or filtered.

Before and after photographs are useful, but only when you know how to read them. Lighting, posture, camera angle and even the time of day change how a body looks. Therefore, when comparing clinics, look for consistency between the two images rather than dramatic transformation.

What an honest result photo looks like

  • Same lighting, same background and same camera distance in both images
  • Same posture and angle, so the comparison is genuinely like for like
  • Visible scars where a procedure would realistically leave them
  • A stated time interval, since a photo at six months means more than one at six days
  • No obvious editing, smoothing or colour correction

If a gallery shows only flawless, evenly lit, scar free outcomes, treat it with caution. Real surgical results include scars and they settle over months.

Why do results vary between patients?

Two people can undergo the same procedure with the same surgeon and finish with different outcomes. Skin quality, age, healing capacity, body proportions and how closely aftercare is followed all influence the final result. Smoking in particular slows healing measurably, which is why we ask patients to stop before and after surgery.

Additionally, the starting point matters enormously. A procedure can improve proportion and contour, but it works with the anatomy you have rather than replacing it.

When will you see your own result?

Swelling hides the outcome in the early weeks, so the version of yourself you see at two weeks is not the finished one. Most body contouring settles between three and six months. Rhinoplasty takes longer, often up to a year for the fine detail. Scars continue to soften and fade for roughly twelve months.

For that reason the photographs in this gallery are taken at meaningful intervals rather than immediately after surgery.

Consent and patient privacy

No photograph appears on this page without specific written permission from the patient. Consent for treatment and consent for publication are handled separately, so agreeing to one never implies the other. Patients can withdraw permission at any time and the image is removed.

Many patients understandably prefer not to be photographed at all, and that decision has no effect whatsoever on their care. Consequently, this gallery represents only the patients who chose to share, not the full range of work carried out at the clinic.

Can you promise a specific outcome?

No responsible surgeon can. Elegance Clinic does not guarantee a particular result, because healing is biological and varies between individuals. What we do commit to is an honest assessment before you decide, a clear explanation of what is achievable for your anatomy, and follow up care if healing does not progress as expected.

During your consultation, Dr. Ashutosh Shah will show you cases similar to yours where possible, which is far more useful than looking at the most flattering result in a gallery.

Planning your own treatment

If something here resembles your concern, the next step is a consultation rather than a booking. Browse the relevant treatment pages first, then read the patient guide for preparation and recovery detail. Bring your questions to the appointment, and expect an honest answer, including the possibility that surgery is not the right choice for you.

FAQ

Questions about results

Still have a question? Reach out confidentially and our care team will respond personally.

Are these before and after photos real patients?

Yes. Every image shows an actual patient treated by Dr. Ashutosh Shah at Elegance Clinic in Surat, published with written consent. The photographs are not retouched, filtered or digitally altered.

How soon will I look like the after photo?

Most body procedures settle between three and six months once swelling resolves. Rhinoplasty can take up to a year for fine detail. Early photographs at two or three weeks do not represent the final outcome.

Will my result look the same as the gallery?

Not necessarily. Skin quality, age, healing capacity, starting anatomy and aftercare all affect the outcome. Your surgeon will show you comparable cases during consultation, which gives a far more realistic expectation.

Will my photographs be published?

Only if you give separate written permission. Consent for treatment and consent for publication are handled independently, and declining has no effect on your care. Permission can be withdrawn later at any time.

Are the results permanent?

Surgical results are long lasting, but ageing, weight change and pregnancy continue afterwards. Maintaining a stable weight protects body contouring outcomes considerably. Non surgical treatments generally need periodic maintenance sessions.

Will the scars stay visible?

Scars are placed in natural creases or concealed areas wherever the procedure allows, and they fade steadily over six to twelve months. Following the scar care advice given at discharge makes a genuine difference to the final appearance.

What if I am unhappy with my result?

Speak to the clinic rather than waiting. Many early concerns are swelling related and resolve with time. If a genuine issue exists, Dr. Ashutosh Shah will review you and discuss what can be done.
